All of us that have worked through the horrific pandemic are waiting for a return to our normal lives – when vaccines and other mitigation efforts will finally allow us to put the worst behind us. However, in the world of Unified Communication and Collaboration, ‘Normal’ was already disappearing due to several factors – like Digital Transformation, the increasing sophistication of communications technology, and workforce globalization. In this thought leadership session, Dave Shull, the new President and CEO of Poly, will discuss how the UC industry is at a critical inflection point in its history. Our role as collaboration visionaries has never been more important than now, as we strive to outfit people with the right gear to crush the job, while at the same time bring equity to workers, teachers, students, doctors, patients and others, regardless of their location or circumstances. While COVID has been a critical catalyst, it only sped-up the changes that were already underway.
Takeaways:
- What were the fundamental changes in collaboration that were already reshaping society?
- How will organizations create a level playing field and equal experience between communications participants wherever they are?
- How can technology managers ensure that participants in remote locations are proactively supportable and monitorable, ensuring awesome experiences?
