I consider myself a lifelong student and I am driven by a desire and passion to learn. That is why I am thankful to have the opportunity to creatively turn what I learn into exciting training assets for others. Regardless of the method, I absolutely love helping and teaching others.
Being a child of a former band conductor meant that it wasn’t if I was going to learn a musical instrument, but when. I didn’t know it at the time, but this would ultimately lead to my love of sound and greatly influence my career choices. My passion for music grew as I learned to play the saxophone at a young age. Soon, I was also playing piano and guitar, which led me to form my own bands all while continuing to play sax in school. My obsession with music eventually became an obsession with sound after having the opportunity to play on my first demo and being disappointed in what the recording engineer delivered.
I’ve gone from managing record shops, to barely breaking even as a touring musician, to mixing live sound, to answering late-night calls troubleshooting faulty AV-equipment, and for the last eight years, teaching and creating content in the pro-AV industry. All these things have been bound by a love of sound.
I am thankful for the opportunity to work alongside so many talented minds at Bose, and excited to push forward multiple methods of technical training. As technology progresses and changes how we learn, I am excited to continue to educate you in how our products at Bose work.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring sound design, writing songs, discovering a new world in a book or videogame, perfecting a dish in the kitchen, and spending time with my wife and our three dogs. I trust our training courses will see you succeed in your next gig, and please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m here for you.
